The kindergartners got an early start to their summer by making their own "summer bucket lists"! As the school year comes to an end, the students used their imagination to come up with fun activities that they hope to do this summer.
As they prepared their lists, the students began to note the difference between bucket list activities and plans that they already have for the summer. When we first started the activity, the class began to list things that they knew they were doing such as going on vacation and going to camp. After further discussing the idea of a bucket list, they began to think up activities that they want to do before summer ends even if they have no plans to do it yet. Bucket list activities included swimming in the deep end of pools, going in the ocean, trying new ice cream flavors and even making new friends... it is going to be a busy summer for the kindergarten class!!
